Feedback on Finished songs / Re: Fly With Angels

It's got a happy ending , I'll break my rules without one . I was lazy , but finished it . That's the good part on doing country music , you can be older and kinda get away with it , Alt rock , you got kids with new trends and your still listening to the Beatles . Thanks

Great intro. Very hypnotics. I often lose track of time. Especially when I'm up late working on a song. Another classic track Mora. I really enjoyed this. :)

Hola Chris, qu´tal estás? Thank you so much, glad you liked it. @ChrisPrice

A lovely tribute to Margaret. It's more upbeat than I expected..nothing wrong with that of course. Another really well crafted song Paul, and sung in your distinct style. The lyrics paint a picture so well. Love it. :)

Feedback on Finished songs / Do You Dare?

This is 'Do You Dare?' from the album suite of songs written one week in March.  For my beautiful Mam Margaret.  It will be the third anniversary of her passing this Thursday.

Do You Dare

Take Me Down to the oak tree by the lake,
where bumble bees take flight.
Pour me a cool glass of lemonade; watch me fade.
Take me down and we’ll reminisce,
you’ll be surprised what you hear.
Pull up a chair, tell me that you care. Do you dare?

I see you with your father in the sun.
If I could catch your gaze, would you know my name?

This is where my broken heart resides;
an early bird without flight.
Here in the shade, I could still belong; of course, I’m wrong.

Take my hand. Let us walk a while,
where warm sun falls on my skin.
Pull up a chair, tell me that you care.
Do you dare?

I see you with your father in the sun.
If I could catch your gaze, would you know my name?

To drift on a boat. ‘neath the winter sky.  to lose all sight of land.

Take me down and we’ll reminisce,
you’ll be surprised what you hear.
Pull up a chair, tell me that you care. Do you dare?
Pull up a chair, tell me that you care. Do you dare?

There's such a strong country influence mixed with your trademark Rock 'n' roll roots and cool guitar playing. The lyrics are excellent and of course current.  Everything that I have come to expect from you @ChrisPrice.

Hola @moraamarolaloba,

Just listened to your latest and of course I wasn't disappointed. I'm not experienced enough to give a deep analysis of the song, but I do know what sounds good and your songs always create a mood which I like very much, thank you for sharing,

George
