(Hm, I hope that name caught enough attention... Maybe I should change it...)
The challenge is simple. Write and record a song with a whistle solo (as in, someone whistling).
If people want, we can make this a competition, in which case I propose the following judging conditions:
Appropriacy of the whistling (it would sound out-of-place in a thrash metal song)
'Catchyness' (do we all find ourselves whistling along?)
Effective placement with accompanying sounds (does is sit well with a riff? Is it over a lone piano? Is it by itself? does that work?)
Message (Does it add to the message of the song or help create the atmosphere for the message? Maybe it's for contrast a-la 'pumped up kicks')
Notability (is the whistling a memorable, outstanding part of the song? Contrast being 'just sounds like filler)
