Hourglass is a lovely piece,it manages to be simultaneously uplifting and heartbreaking,a neat trick in itself.

Very impressive.

The rest of the album is my listening for tonight.

Edit.....Excellent work,I really enjoyed that. I especially liked the incongruity between the strings and the piano on 'Negative Feedback'. Very well done.

Hi tone, negative feedback was my favourite! It reminded me of a modern Swedish jazz drummer Magnus ostrom who recorded an instrumental solo album called ( I think) thread of life. If you've not heard it you'll like it!
