I wrote this for my best friend.

Verse
Remember we said everything happens to us
We're just bending in the wind
Our perfect steel starting to rust
All the times we shared tears and huddled on my porch
We stayed out longer than i should have
Anything was better than going home

Chorus
I miss you so much
Can't stress it enough
That I know we're better now
In time we found out
Friends are gonna let you down
Cause anything thats perfect is never real
My army of one
I love you still

Verse
Changes are never easy to accept
And i know you're changing
You have a heart of gold
You have a complex soul
And in the end id rather die with you than without you

Pre Chorus
Nothing really matters when I've got you by my side
And sometimes i feel strong enough to take the wheel and drive

Chorus
I miss you so much
Can't stress it enough
That I know we're better now
In time we found out
Friends are gonna let you down
Cause anything thats perfect is never real
My army of one
I love you still

Bridge
And it's never going to be Crystal clear
And I'm never losing hold of eleven years
My porcelain doll
Oh my porcelain doll

Chorus
I miss you so much
Can't stress it enough
That I know we're better now
In time we found out
Friends are gonna let you down
Cause anything thats perfect is never real
My army of one
I love you still

My army of one
You're stronger than a million guns
Protect me from a thousand suns
I know you're here
I'll always be here
My army of one
I love you still

  Hey Ros!
I really like this, opened some doors of my own. From verse 1 to the end , i was right there with you. I really don't know what to say, except the feeling came through.

Hi Rosilindsings,
this is cool and obviously straight from the heart,
she must be some friend you've got to write a song about her,
                                                                                      best wishes,Tom.

PALPABLE emotion.  You could see it dripping off the screen.  Very nicely done.

This is a great story. This is very powerful and like Tom said, from the heart. Great Job!
