VERSE (1 1 4 1) x2

I'm Alabama God Bless America confident

Raised right in this half full glass small town... country boy , sung by BGV

Daddy's a back in the woods top liner moonshiner obstinate

Souped up coup and git er done don’t mess around...country boy , sung by BGV

PRE (6 4 6 5)

Mamma calls me her six string hillbilly genius

Passed down from the holler, why would I ever leave it

CHORUS (1 1 4 1) x2

Got Circus broken bottle abstract tats

Charismatic in my Stetson black hat

Bust a twang groove swing neon light girls

With My 808's Dixie Beat Band rockin’ your world

Shorty's trigger moves bump grind in this bar

On a dig out dance floor, pride and joy..

Once I start I don’t stop, cuz I'm a 7 whiskey shot

Highly effective country boy

Big Face baller with a Jack Daniels smile

Prodigy-getty ahead of the shizit don't lose....country boy , sung by BGV

Chiseled blond bartenders love my molasses style

With my three chords of 800 proof...country boy , sung by BGV

Mix of old school Hank and a little Drake swooner

Heartthrob with a skizzle wicked sense of humor

REPEAT CHORUS

BRIDGE (6 7/5) x4

Give ya a little fast rap

Then a slow you down

With a shooter glass in my hand

Sing ya home to a dirt road while the pretty stars are out

REPEAT CHORUS

Real drummer coming , replace the machine

I'm actually quiet surprised this 3rd wife hasn't left me yet , Elvis you never make money on music . I really don't have the stamina for a 4th wife . I guess the first line on finding a new one is , you're my soul mate , thats always quiet popular

I won't be the richest man in the cemetery
Lying next to McCartney and Dylan
But we chased dreams thru Strawberry fields
As we knock on heavens door
Bank accounts won't matter anymore
Over younder is Chuck Berry
I won't be the richest man in the cemetery

@Elvis Nash (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=22812)  . . . man you're always a character . . . great production, and great songwriting . . . your voice got younger (BGV), but it's still you, immortal I guess, but not the richest man in the cemetery (might be a new song there ?) . . . enjoyed my listening as always . . .

Thats not my voice , Thats a Nashville writer and singer I'm working with . I'll sing this April 2nd.  The BGVS are being added now and stems will be sent to studio here in the Bay area . The richest man in the cemetery is a line out of a Richard Gere movie , I'll probably finish it later . I have a few notes for verses , Like . I pay 1000's to be tombstone radio , but i'm just digging a hole . i'll buy my casket on sale at Walmart , And go out with a song in my heart
Thanks

@Elvis Nash (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=22812)  Some great lines in there and a powerful country song. I look forward to hearing the finished product with your own vocal. What's the deal with the "I won't be the richest man ..." section, is that to be added or does it belong somewhere else? It's a great stanza.  Kevin

To much coffee and time on my hands , the richest man in the cemetery, Will be a new one I'll work on , It has come off funny and not to bitter , Talent has nothing to do with it , its how much money you can put on the plate, especially in 2024 and internet .
thanks

Again, I very much look forward to hear this one with your voice.

Real drums are coming to replace the machine , I never really noticed machines before , But they do sound weak and like a machine .
Though Nashville have gurus... that do nothing but make loops for hits .  its kinda funny , I can hire 500 real drummers for 80 bucks to do the track . The drummer is in Italy , Wa La , fly into studio , mix it in , That's not all correct , Real drummer will be used and some machine parts . I'm naive on mixes and production . A lot to it .
Thanks

Another great track my friend. I love the lyrics, but then I always do! Are the 3 chords the same as my Cowboy Chords?!! ;D I jest, this is awesome. Just keep doing what you do. I'll always listen.

Interesting you brought up cowboy chords . There is a vid ( Which I lost now ) on basic chords using inversions .
So have to study it on next song to use .
thanks Chris

there he is . We could take it bit further using Nashville tuning , which is basically using 12 stings srtings on EADG , some octove deal on doing that .

Perhaps you could layer 2nd guitar part on doing that over boring cowboy chords , I'd have to get into further , After moving to Clear Lake Calif on a lake lol. ...double wide cracker.    Big problem on meth monsters walking around , Well be form of entertainment for me , Arent you guys up a bit early at 3pm ?   Oh what a wicked web we weave

Do I really want other dark song right now , on death ? Maybe not , My nightmare is about over on things , Maybe I'll ask a few hit writers for a upbeat feel good song to cut .

Love the way everything here is an adjective! Very clever, Mr Bond. I think the highly effective country boy is you.

Some days man , I'm in the middle of moving and closing 2 escrows , I never want to move again Adam  .
I've always had the John Wayne complex and tuff things out , But I ended up in emergency yesterday with a pinched nerve in my back
Man give me some pills doc . lol. So much for John Wayne . Who do you want us to bill it to the Army (I'm a vet) or medicare ? I could careless , Just give me the pills .
thanks

I would rather the next song be uplifting , like angle ...There’s always a light, if only we're brave enough to see it. If only we're brave enough to be it.

Hola @Elvis Nash (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=22812)
I really like guitars, they sound great and have an aura that envelops the ear.
An ideal tempo and a story of so many... country boys, genuine geniuses despite everything.

That reverb makes me envious!!

In between escrows opening and closing and moving . Squeeze in singing it April 2nd . BGVS are being done now . blend them in mix
Producer should be over Covid by then , the 3rd time getting it . I had a Hammond organ track done for bridge , It should work with the gospel BGVS , since I think it needs more to flow right ,
thanks

chico, todo es normal, life is like this,  we are not prepared for the good, (which often makes us stupid) nor for the bad, which makes us bad hahaha
I hope the producer recovers well. I think the health authorities should make a vaccine from their blood.

For me it's all over the place, there's no story that i can see, lines seem to be just randomly placed as it doesn't move from one to the next it just jumps from one thing to the next with no connection to any of the lines.

personally i couldn't tell you what's its about.

i once saw a podcast where 2 very successful songwriters talked about lyrics and they kept going on about k.i.s.s, which they meant as keep it simple stupid, lyrics need to be simple to sing, understand, relate too and remember.

now i'm no expert but i would suggest some co-writing so you have another voice involved, someone who can offer alternate lines and its a great learning thing.

That was cowritten with a Nashville hit writer Danny , Its just a country boy song , singing in bars . Pretty simple story . I’ve studied with hit writers for 20 years Danny
The hook is a steal from the author who wrote “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” I added the Hammond organ on bridge , Now to sing this and add BGVS which will be 3 part gospel.  They're from Africa . the machine drums , will replaced with real drummer.
Thanks for listening Danny , Good luck on your musical Journey

I'll be honest here coz i think you can take it,
your ego is huge and that's not a good thing, passive aggressive using the slightly wrong name in your reply then dropping that it was written with a hit writer, didn't name them though, and then that you have studied with hit writers for 20 years, then your own websites first line is, "i didn't set out to be a famous country star" , that points to the fact you think you are?

i'm not trying to be mean but its a massive red flag for me, my betting is your a radio host of your own internet radio show, that plays the things you like and probably your own stuff.

i'm just being honest here, but a major thing NOT to be to newbies is an ass, you failed.

Everyone becomes a poet by puberty . The guy who said money is the root of all evil , probably had a drug addiction problem .
Marriage is basically legalized prostitution .

They said this, they said that . I've narrowed it down to Theodore They , His wife is Adjective They, All the kids are named after verbs .
if the unknown author is so smart , why is he unknown ?

if we hate violence so much , Why is 90 % of movies on murder. ? Ted Bunday got more press then Jesus .
if everything under the sun is being redundant , Why do we keep talking about everything under the sun ?

Fantastic title and the lyrics don't disappoint @Elvis Nash (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=22812) . Very clever and it's a great production al in all. Nothing wrong with wordy (but I might perhaps be a little biased!!).

I absolutely LOVE this - everything about it.. I'm a fan!!

I spent hours googling Hip -Hop Phrases to put in this song ,When I did , it gave me what they meant . Hmmm well that line will work. lol

shiznit – shit (usually in a general positive sense); used especially in the phrase “Thats tha Shiznit!”
fo’shizzle – for sure
skizzle – a drip of any sort of intoxicating liquid.
tizzle – tizzy, a state of agitation or nervousness.
wizzle – wigga
The most popular genre is Hip -Hop
If you look at kids . most are dressed like hip hop stars . or a lot anyway
I think the worse thing you can do is say todays music sucks , Even Rick Beato does that , Thats bs , it just shows how old you are.. like some kinda badge of honor., If you think about it , what's so great about being old ? Not much really .

Thanks for listening
