As in is it loud enough..should be.it`s not been done into a mp3 player.

I bought some equipment ..mic stand..Samson CO1 condenser mic..focusrite scarlett 2i2 interface.....comes with Alberton live 8..daw software, not the full one,,but still looks flipping complicated ,so i will stick with audacity ,which i also need to fathom out,but have learned to do a basic recording with............

Iv`e just recorded me messing with guitar..to see if it`s audible ,playing with settings and that...

Do they run night school courses for the music , technology ,,,,,ignorant  :D

You have a really nice guitar sound, but there is a hell of a lot of noise; I would expect this kind of noise recording to a standard soundcard!
I suspect there is something wrong with the gain staging...
Details of how you set it up?

I don't know of any night school music tech courses, but my approach to new stuff is always just to get an evening, get a coke/beer/coffee, some crisps and have some cosy time with the manuals & tutorials :)
It's the only way really!

What settings,,now theres a question..iv`e just turned down the gain like you mention,,it was set at half way..?

Iv`e done something else...it`s strange..with some weird vocals,,with echo on, :D
I guess i`m going to need to learn about noise reduction if i want to do a full song!!

Not necessarily turn it down. The gain on the focusrite preamp should be as high as it can be without distorting (the LED halo around it would turn red if it clips).
If this overloads the sound on your pc, turn down the input using your pc software (not on the preamp)

And make sure you have the switch set to 'line' if you are using a mic and 'inst' if you are plugging in the guitar directly....
And here is a weird thing...if you are using a microphone, the plug that goes into the focusrite MUST be XLR (not a 1/4" TRS jack), otherwise it will assume you are using a 'line level' input and not a 'mic level' input. But you will probably have the right cable...

And of course, make sure 48V is on if using the samson CO1...

This. Also, play around with the software and hardware. The more you do it, the more comfortable you'll get with tracking your tunes. You don't need to know every intricate feature of a modern DAW in order to get decent results.

As for Ableton, I've posted links to a couple of tutorials on tracking vox and guitar - hope this helps!

BTW, re. your comments on the other thread - your voice sounds absolutely fine to me. Get closer to the damn mic!

Also, mic placement with the c01 -

General vocals -
