Hi all
I thought we could have a fun little game where we try to list as many song titles with colours in the title as possible
Here are the rules:
Only one song title per post - this will mean we can count the number of titles we get to by simply checking the post count
If you have more than one title to add - make separate posts
EVERY post in this thread MUST have a song title
This is where it gets more fun - if you want to post a comment about someone else's post (e.g. Challenge someone to say they got a title wrong) you MUST start your post with a song title
I will start things off...
Purple Rain
-
Whey I'm liking it.
Behind Blue Eyes
-
Pretty In Pink
-
Brown eyed girl
All the easy ones first eh? :D
-
Mood Indigo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaq9Gx9GT5E) (sung here by Ella Fitzgerald)
Just for clarification: do they all have to be different colours?
-
As it's nearly Christmas...
White Riot - The Clash
-
Just for clarification: do they all have to be different colours?
Oooh good question! No idea :D
Red shoes by the drugstore (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMvmZC8rJys) - Tom Waits
-
(It might be more fun to try to find as many different colours as possible. There must be hundreds of song titles containing "Blue" alone, for instance.)
The Village Green Preservation Society (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lc7dmu4G8oc) - The Kinks
-

Could provide an interesting twist…
What about a song with two colours in the title?

A Song That Sounds Blue by Tom Tognaci
-
Blue on Blue by Bobby Vinton
-
Devil with the Blue Dress On by ... I can't remember
And I know the rules didn't specify no cheating by "googling" (note my biased opinion), but I had to look this one up because I couldn't remember if the dress was blue or red....
-
Black Is the Color of My True Love's Hair
Have no idea who's responsible for this song...it's very old. I know I've heard Celtic Woman do it.
-
Red red wine
Do I get three points?
-
Venus in Blue Jeans. Again, can't remember who did it. One of those 50s/60s crooners.
-

Hey Ho Silver Lining
Gold

Sorry but last one for tonight is White Room by Cream

Yellow card! 1 song per post!
However, after adjudication this has been rescinded for "Mauve Over Darling" :D ;D :D ;D :D ;D
I didn't want to place any restrictions on this one as it is a warm up - I have got some I deals that will be a little more challenging
If anyone has any good ideas for little distraction games like this please PM me and we can run one every now and again
Oh, and so I don't break the rules...
Blue Light Prince
-
Surely there's a bonus point for this: another Prince song of the same colour -
Computer Blue
