Hi everyone,

I know I've posted this music but it's finished now and I wondered if anyone who knows about production could scrutinise it and let me know if anything needs tweaking. Going to upload it to stock library for approval (hopefully). ;D

Really appreciate it thanks

Flossie, can imagine it used in chase sequence.
I'm not really a producer/engineer but all I'd say watch out for the snare drums with the synths from 25 secs onwards, perhaps a touch more bass too?
Cool

hi flossy, sounded like something exciting would be going if it was on tv  :D
It sounded quite bassy on my headphones ,they were rumbling a bit , have you tried it on different systems ? might just be my headphones  :-\
good music though  ;D

Sounds fantastic to me I'm not really able to offer any advice on production but thought I'd just say very well done on a nice peice of music. There's lots of interest packed into a short peice. Sounds great in my headphones.

Well I've adjusted the bass, added a bass line (and a few more bits - this thing is a monster!!!)
Here it is again but it is only short!

Thanks for the advice it really is appreciated (and more is still welcome  :-*)

Now can anyone give me any ideas what I should call it, what sort of film or ad could you hear it on (not that it will get on one, just for the library!!! :P)

Thanks
(oops already said that)

I have listened to the second mix, and all the levels are fine. Just be careful with the kick drum. It is squaring off a little. Be careful of compression settings, or, it is is a sample use a less pushed version (turn down the velocity) which should give you less click.

Good bit of music here tho, lots going on and it works brilliantly. Good library stuff!! :)

Hi everyone

@James what do you mean by squaring off, I have added compression to the track and I can tweak the velocity of the sample though!  Thanks.

@Kaf it's just how the track turned out !!! You know me I'm a ballad girl at heart

@binladeda Hmm thrill of victory could be a goer...thanks.

Thanks all

On headphones it sounds like the bass drum is hitting s ceiling of sound, hene squaring off. This sounds like a click that isn't inherent to the bass drum sound itself. Try softening the ration of the compressor on the bass drum and/or the threshold. Listen to the drum soloed to hear. Once it sounds natural again mix back into the tune xxx
