Got a bit too laid back with this one  ;)

https://soundcloud.com/sunset-music-productions/keep-pushin-2

Lyrics:

v1
Just about on the breadline
if you know what i mean
the curtains drawn in this house
no one here gets seen
too much pain depression
blue lights flashing past
back for another session
with alice through the looking glass

v2
walking down skid row
i've got your back baby
i'll hold your hand forever
but nothing can save me

v3
People here are heartless
they don't care too much
sirens down the road
the world is so fu><ed up
the snow keeps falling down
the road is cold and dead
the weathers a reflection
of your soul in bed

Now that's a chillin' groove :)
Loved the beginning and every bit without the vocals. I'm not sure what it is about them, because I kinda like the idea of the delay... maybe the tone is a little grating, not too sure. Maybe they sound a little too harsh in contrast to the mellow backing.
Just how I hear it anyway. :)
I loved how the guitar came in at the beginning and thought that a nice little touch.
You definately are the master of this genre, whatever it is, I have no idea, but I like it.
There are holes in the sky where the rain gets in  , but they're ever so small, that's why rain is thin.

Hi Jim,

Love the way this just crawls along - forboding. Then the other bits start chipping in. Hypnotic.
Liked the production and the understated guitar. Nice effect on the vocal. Won't be everyone's cuppa, but I'll take a refill.

that is something else! Very cool song, ace!

what is that line you are repeating..."just gotta push some more", or something like that? That line sounds good

Totally agree with digger72. You know how much I enjoy your tracks and this is another one. Kind of like a slowed down, more electric JJ Cale. Hypnotic, dreamy and mysterious. Wonderful.

Yes. Works well very moody like the oohs and the ping pong echo on the vocals. The lyrics are fairly desolate and melody matches perfectly.
