Lord above, I wish I could make an acoustic song sound that beautiful.
I have nothing to say in any critique sort of a way.
Expertly produced and expertly performed!
Can't believe I haven't listened to more of your stuff. Consider me a fan!
Information is not knowledge.
Knowledge is not wisdom.
Wisdom is not truth.
Truth is not beauty.
Beauty is not love.
Love is not music.
Music is the best!

Hi Lost Boy. This style of song is not really my cup of tea. However I have to admire the craftsmanship on show here. The dreamy vibe and lyrics packed full of imagery and the vocal delivery are exceptional. I don’t like ballads in general as in most cases I find them dreary but this one is so well done I’m gonna give you a pass with flying colours! Cheers Micky

Hi,

I’ve listened to the song 3-4 times.

It’s a beautiful song and beautifully sung.

The tone of your voice is very soulful and controlled. I’m, jealous.

There is really very little to be critical of in this song. Its definitely something I would choose to listen to.

Great instrumentation. I think the sensitivity of the song would be lost if you used a more complex arrangement/production on this song.

I think the introduction of the drums, strings, BV’s and Spanish guitar at around 3:20 Is just at the right time.

There are only three things I would look at possibly tweaking to achieve perfection. And please realise I’m digging deep to find these :-)

1. I wouldn’t use the sample of the waves at the start. Just come in with the guitar and voice
2. There’s a really slight pitching issue/glitch at 2:25 on “Kingdom”.
3. The music runs out slightly early in the final fade out (as if there should have been a couple more bars).

Hope this helps, and thanks for a great song.

All the best,

Paul

Hi Leo,

I am super jealous of that voice you got goin on.

Really nice tone and the song is super easy on the ear, sounding nice.

Thumbs up here, nothing really to critisize, just a great sound.

Haunting and beautiful!

I agree that it could open up sooner but the little motifs and snippets that punctuate the guitar and vox every now and then work really well.

If it were me I’d probably open out in around the same place but maybe develop these motifs further along the way.

If it were me though, I wouldn’t have created anything this good in the first place.

Very well done.

Mate, I hate you so very much! I'd trade all of my guitars (well, maybe not all  ;D ;D ;D) for 2,3% of your vocal capabilities.
Seriously, your stuff are always top notch but this must be one of my fav songs of yours.
All the right stuff in all the right places, just blown away, no complaints from me.
But I still hate you...

 ;D ;D ;D
