Hi everyone, hope you're all OK! Apologies I know I haven't been around reviewing in recent months but I'm back.

Here's an old song I wrote but recorded recently...... Would love to hear your thoughts.

Nothing To Me

You don't notice when I'm around,
You keep pretending I make no sound.

When all that I want,
Is for you to say,
That I can be yours one day.

You were something I once dreamed,
When you meant everything to me.
But now you're nothing to me.
As fate pulled us apart,
Stood cold alone in the dark.
Trying to mend my broken heart.

So what do I have to say,
To try to convince you to stay.

When all that I want,
Is for you to say,
That I can be yours always.

You were something I once dreamed,
When you meant everything to me,
But now you're nothing to me.
As fate pulled us apart,
Stood cold alone in the dark,
Trying to mend my broken heart

Great song. A strong vocal and some good guitar and bass playing. It might be my headphones, but it sounds very top-end heavy to me. I don't usually notice that as my hearing isn't what it used to be (years of gigging!). I'll have another listen on my studio monitors later as I could be wrong. Musically it's very much my thing. thoroughly enjoyed this. :)

Welcome back @Sebandme Great rocking song - Great vocals and really ballsy guitar sound. The "Wall of guitar sound" works a treat - Nice punch bass as well - Great stuff  :)

This is a great track, nice production also. Love the riff and the vocal, if I would comment on anything I'd say the bassline could be a bit more interesting rather than mostly root notes. And some extra supporting backing vocals during some of the early chorus' would beef them up a bit, mostly personal preference though.

@Sebandme Love the lead guitar on this one, very melodic! Nice rocking tune ... love the fade out at the end.

@Sebandme

Hi, great guitar sounds and the vocal works very nicely, also enjoyed the backing vocals. Nice guitar solo and the bass kept it pumping along. My only thought is that I found the drums' a bit indistinct. Not sure if it was the mix or the drums/loops used?

Nice work 8)

Thanks guys for checking it out!

@ChrisPrice I think you have a point about being top heavy I'll look into that, thanks for taking the time to listen.

@pompeyjazz it's good to be back thanks for the nice comments

@CFCity point taken bud.... I'm really not much of a bassist so...  Yeah I'll take that on the chin..... Thanks for checking it out.

@kevysc thanks for the kind comments really appreciated.

@Jamie thanks for checking it out.... The drums are actually played by a real life drummer and I thought he has done a great job could well be my mix I know that I'm not the best at that and all gets abit messy.... But I'm trying haha.... Thanks again for checking it out.

@MonnoDB thanks for checking it out really appreciate it glad you think it's catchy as hell!!

that was a good listen
I've no idea how you get all that done
sounds very professional to my ear
I thought i could recognise different influences in there
it sounds modern and I'm so badly informed with modern bands

Well done on coming back after a long pause
Belting song!
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Don't eat the yellow snow

And there you have it.
