Hi Jimmy

This is right up my street! A very nice bit of songwriting, and the stripped-back arrangement suits it perfectly. If you feel like posting the lyrics, I'd like to read them. I couldn't make them all out.

Very nice performance by you & your band. I like a lot. Do more.

Thanks Tone! Glad you enjoyed it! The lyrics are fairly straight forward, nothing fancy...

This is our final flight tonight
Spread your wings and join me in the sky
Up above the clouds so high
I'll guide you home I'll watch you fly

Time to say goodbye
I hope that you can find
Someone who can
Love you while I'm gone
They clipped my wings
But you must carry on

This is the final time you'll see my face
Save this memory, enjoy this last embrace
Down below the world's so small
It's really not that big at all
Remember when you're lost and cold

Time to say goodbye
I hope that you can find
Someone who can
Love you now I'm gone
They clipped my wings
But you must carry on

etc etc...

There's more stuff on the way, there's also some stuff on a soundcloud page too.  Have you got any stuff anywhere?

Jimmy,

This is astonishing, so good it hurts! (me)

The lyrics although simple could be taken a few ways. The chord structure you are having a laugh with aren't you - more changes than Madonna.

The ebb and flow of the arrangement - just sublime.

No bullshit man I love this - really love it  ;)

Gorgeous arrangement of a well crafted song. Vocal reminiscent of Neil Young!  :o Wow!

Soft but powerful, lovely gentle vocals.

Really like the little vocal inflections and twists in the melody, for example the first line, the way you sing 'tonight' it's got a little tremor, interesting vocals raise a song up a bar in my opinion. Not many can achieve that honesty in their voice.

Beautiful song.

nice, warm and flowing. beautifull voyce sometimes a little off the tone, but that could be charming.

Hi,

Really strong, natural vocals. Like the feel of the song, a kind of lull in a storm. Nice contrast between light music and what appear to be quite sad lyrics.

Good work.
