@MonnoDB Thanks so much Karen. I deliberately kept this one fast and loose. I’m getting such a huge buzz from playing live, even if it’s pretty low key. What I enjoyed the most was that I wrote the song during the week and played it live at the weekend. I’d love to play a gig in Dublin. Something I should look into as I’ve a few connections. With regard to the radio stuff, I probably spent more time watching YouTube videos about the early Teds than recording the song. There really is some priceless stuff out there !

@rightly Thanks so much man. I think Berlin would be a great place to gig too. Two of my sisters recently visited and absolutely loved it. They didn’t go to that club though

Some may see what I am about to say as sacrilegious....but I would genuinely suggest that this is a perfect opportunity for you to dable with generative AI such as ChatGPT or Bing CoPilot

Treat it like a "co-writer" and feed it some ideas, lines, rants and then see what it comes up with

It is NOT writing the song for you (so I don't see it as "cheating") - but may provide some nuggets to help kick off your creative juices - ie better than staring at a blank page

Thanks for the suggestion. I did actually try this about a month ago with a dance song but I think the problem I had was that there was no way it could match the rhythm and timing, and when I went to try and edit it, it just didn't work.

There were some interesting idea's and phrases but it did make me fee dirty, so I went back to the analogue way of doing things
