I write lyrics for these guys (see YouTube sample) - why don’t I write for you?

Here’s the video by the Selfastrays, a German Punk Rock band:

"Where the angels come to weep" - it's also posted here under "finished songs"

I also wrote the lyrics for “the love you found”, “Angel”, “you were my dream”, and “in case”. You can hear samples - and of course buy the songs - on Amazon or iTunes.

Although I do write to match other people’s music, the Selfastrays actually pick lyrics from my lyrics collections to set them to music. When I write for MotorPlanet - http://motorplanet-rock.de/html/horproben.html - the music comes first (I wrote “another way”, “a new day breaks”, and “mother”). It works both ways, you see: music first, then finding matching words - or vice versa.

The songs are registered with the respective PRO, whereas I share all my lyrics for non-commercial use including internet posts on YouTube, FaceBook or wherever, as long as there is no charge. There are hobby projects that are not meant to be exploited commercially, i.e. songs that are neither performed nor sold. My most productive collaboration in this respect is with KOMIR:

More samples of my collborations are on my SoundClick pages:
http://www.soundclick.com/members/default.cfm?member=berndharmsen
under “Artist/Band pages of this user:”. Check out Craig Pavone (Country), and Pad Wall (Pop), for example.

You find all my lyrics - and my licensing conditions - via my homepage: http://bernd-harmsen.de
Or contact me if you have music that lacks the words to make it a song.

Good luck with your projects!
Bernd
