Hello;

trying kinda..."electro-dub-Pop".

Not all the way satisfied with the first vocals.
They re also a little too quiet.

i tried a little harder this time, to do sth more detailed with drums, delays, and stuff.

track s almost finished bit i m still trying to improve it here and there, so feel free to criticise :)

lyrics.....well...you know....

lately i ve been loosing sleep
know your enemy
pour yourself to me

lately they follow me
lost all frequencies
let go your lucid dreams

give up the ghost
give up the ghost
give up the ghost
i m giving up the ghost

Excellent intro, like the mood of the song, kick seems a little distorted..(maybe that's intentional)
great chorus which is too late in the track IMHO...
great track..some very nice sounds in it, just think the really good chorus should be used more..

Hi Butch,

Intro reminded me of something by Radiohead and the vocals as well. I really like the dark ambient atmos that you set. This is continued in the chorus with clever use of vocals. Like the break down at 2:14 but thought you could maybe have dropped something else in there. I like this a lot. Nice work

Cheers

John

I couldnt hear your voice very well...  the doubling up the vocals or the effect whatever it was obscured what you were singing...like you were performing behind a curtain tho the longer the song went on that seemed to fit the mood of the song
the song has a very strange sound... like listening thru thick treacle....which ive always wanted to do so now I can cross it off my bucket list  ;D
but I suppose a song with  ghosts in the lyrics & title should sound a bit weird & eerie
I liked it ...it sounded very 1980s & its quite catchy  :)
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

 Hi,

Really nice groove in the 'give up the ghost' chorus bits.  ;D

Nice feel/mood to the song. I think the drums let it down a
bit....too much and too harsh imo.  Also think the vocal needs
to shine a bit more. You have a good/interesting voice, and I'd
like to hear it better........Might be the crappy speakers I'm
listening to it on though ;D ;D

 Good song...

Nowt as queer as folk...........my gran

Knew I'd like it as soon as I read the title. Vocals are a little quiet and could maybe do with being a little louder but I quite liked it being that bit more subtle as it gave an eeriness to the song.

Instruments and general production seemed well done and professional to me.

Really felt like it was part of a bigger album for some reason and left me wanting to hear the rest.

Okay I guess I'll be just reiterating some the main points of everyone above but if you can increase the volume on your vocals and just kind of 'crisp' the whole thing up for a more defined overall sound then this would be Excellent IMHO. BUT The whole song is very strong already - just saying the potential is massive...

Hi Butcher.

Moving from the electro ambience of Jean-Michel Jarre intro, into Radiohead in their melodic phase,it's a very Scandinavian sound, little bits of Sigur Ros in there too.

Absolutely gorgeous listen,I was spellbound all the way through. I'll leave others to comment on how the mix may be improved,or whatever, this gets my rocks off.  8)

I wish it was on soundcloud, because I'll never use Drop-whatsit,seems a clunky, dull format for hosting music.

I liked this
third listening already
Hungover this morning, so it suits me
Nice inviting groove, laid back.
there could be a part in the vocals where they're pushed forward a bit more
but generally it's fine as it is.

thanks.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Sounds like a good entry for the "spooky or What" contest to me.
Spooky vibe for sure.
Lyrically a little too sparse for me - but that's down to personal preferences isn't it?
Enjoyed the atmosphere  ;D

I agree with many of the remarks by others, so won't repeat all that stuff. I'm with Paulski--this should be in the "spooky or what" challenge. What do you think? Shall I add it to the list?

Great intro

I like the recurring bass and all the background sound affects a lot.

Definitely got a cool chill vibe....love it.

Vocals not so easy to pick out....but like this.

You've got very nice groove going on.
I liked it so much I allowed myself to apply a little eq to brighten it up.
What do you think?
Anyway, well constructed piece.
Best regards
