Interesting chord progression in Eric Clapton song!

I found it very interesting - chords in Eric Clapton song Heads in Georgia. It's a traditional blues progression I-V-IV-I in Cm, but the 4th degree is F7 not Fm (Cm - Gm - F7 - Cm ) and it sounds very interesting. I like it.

As far as I know the song was written by JJ Cale not Clapton.
Just to set the record straight as this is a forum for songwriting isn't it?

You are right on the money Count, and as an aside Cale also wrote After Midnight and Cocaine, two of Claptons best known hits. But for my money I always liked Call Me The Breeze when Lynyrd Skynyrd covered it.
