Thank you @PaulyX and @Jamie ! Yes, this is the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. I'll get through it; I have a lot of support--here and elsewhere. My family has been taking good care of me.

Oh Vicki, I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't been active on the forum for over a month now, and missed this very sad news.

Thank you @Martinswede ! Life is a challenge. I am grateful we had as long as we did, as heart disease runs in his family and he outlived most of his relatives by a significant amount. It's hard, but there are bright spots.
