Vaya! Yes, I know what you say about the sea filled with detritus... We are so inconsciente!
Muchas gracias for your nice comment, glad to see you here, the forum works in a rare way... but this is what it is, changes of all kinds in all of us, right?
My nose remember the smell of many seas, all of them deep, clean and blue.

Well, I'm glad this song was born, it is so well constructed and produced!!! You make the tone changes so natural, little forced! I really liked it, both the lyrics, the music and the voice!!

Buen día @Nick Ryder

Thank you so much and apologies for taking so long to reply!!

@Nick Ryder – catchy melody, lovely little poppy number, Beatles influence strong – which can’t be a bad thing. Lovely production to these inexpert ears. I really like the lyric – simple theme but universal and a good message. I wasn’t sure about the pause before you brought in the last chorus. It felt like it could have ended on the “Don’t lose yourself….”s quite nicely and I think I might have done that myself but I understand why you’d want to go for that last chorus. Good song – enjoyed it.

Thank you. Yeah, I know what you mean about the end. The 'don't lose yourself' bit was written so that when played live, it would be an extended singalong section.

Hi

Great song & executed perfectly
you have got the brit pop sound spot on

subvibe

Thanks, Terry.

its about 5 year old song , Peter Salis and I wrote ii  , I put my spin on it , He had it in B flat , Peter was a staff writer for Demolition publishing , not sure what's up to today
thanks

That turns souls to red rust
And lights turn to dark in a unkind way
But it can turn on a smile if we say hmmm could be to much repetion of turn, just noticed that , subjective ,
Well i'll fix that before going out on a cd , burn to dark, Switch on a smile , damn lol. I don't think Sony is waiting for me , i'll fix 2 words , Well While I'm at it fix fire , sounds like I'm on crutches

Follow him , watch his lyrics , he's not repeating

Man i wish i could sing like him lol

Resources & Marketing / Anyone familiar with WOAfm99 radio?
« Last post by CaliaMoko on Today at 12:25:41 AM »
I got an invitation to provide a Christmas song to WOAfm99 radio for 2024 Christmas. It says:

This is to inform you that your song has been selected for the WOAFM99 Radio Show

To confirm your song on the show please send the 320 Kbps MP3 file of the song to radio@woarecords.com and in the subject line mention: WOAFM99 S28 - Song Name - Artist Name - MXRAY

Please Note: If your song is a holiday/christmas song please use the following subject line instead: WOAFM99 XMAS24 - Song Name - Artist Name - MXRAY
The radio team will be in touch with you once your song is scheduled for an upcoming episode.

Thank you, Portia

I'm wondering if it's a good idea or if I should just ignore it. I had forgotten I had songs listed with musicxray.com until today when I got this.

If this is your first recording then the future looks very bright for you. To be honest, it's not a genre I listen to by choice, but this is really well crafted. Your producer has done an excellent job here. Great stuff :)

This is very post-Beatles. Double Fantasy springs to mind..also some of Maca's early solo material. This is fabulous, a great arrangement. I like the fact that it isn't over-produced. A lovely song my friend. :)

You are absolutely right @moraamarolaloba The spring does seem to bring back memories and aromas of previous years. I’m not sure that you would like the aroma of the sea near to me recently after the amount of detritus that has been deposited into the Ocean. This one is really atmospheric. The spoken word works very well and I love that bass drum like a heartbeat. Always original and different you are Mora 😀
