This is a song I began around 8 month ago and put aside not really knowing what to do with it.
I ended up messing around with synths and loops to try and make something of it and when I recently got some nice string samples plugged a gap in the end.
I find myself really quite liking it after all that.
So I guess I am wondering if it sounds like a thing that is completed, or something thrown together and a collection of bits? And do the strings sound ok and do they fit the track?

She Don't Live Here Any More
She don't live here any more
She's a vagabond queen fore-evermore
She don't live here any more
Yeah she slipped through my fingers out the door
And I bet that she's still beautiful
And I bet that she could charm all the little birds from the trees
She don't live here any more
It's just a trick of the light you never saw
She don't live here any more
Though she haunts ever room, on every floor
And I bet that she's still beautiful
And I bet some guy just treasures the very air that she breathes
No doubt
She's gonna throw her love about
Gonna make his body sing
No doubt
She'll rip his very essence out
And he is just a shadow that sings
She don't live here any more
She don't live here any more
And I bet that she's still beautiful
And I bet that she could charm all the little birds from the trees
