evening all! well here is one of my simple strumalong buskers songs what i've wrote, just a rough demo, vocals and guitar and even a mini guitar solo like, full on jimmy page solo if i get this one fully produced one day haha! anyhow its called hey ok if anyone wants to have a listen and see what you think of it!

It has a bit of Noel Gallagher (early oasis) vibe to it.

Would like to hear a full version of this track, maybe add a little more to it (a middle 8 or bridge would be cool).

Very catchy actually , reminds me of a 70's song , but cant put my finger on it at the moment , would be great if you invested in a bit of recording kit because this would be great properly recorded with a full band etc.
but from what i heard it sounds like a good tune.

really like this. reminds me of some of the Lennon outtakes from The White Album. little bit of Oasis influence in there too.  even without a full band production, this is a great piece of music and stands on its own fine, but to imagine this in full band production mode is quite exciting indeed.  keep us posted on any more work done with it

Yeah, definitely Noel Gallagher (pre-Oasis) sounding with Liam on vocals, or even John Lennon for that matter as ABV said. Idk if you're familiar with the infamous Oasis sample of Liam's unknown song "Show Me Your Love", or that's what the kids are calling it at least, but I get that vibe when I hear this. Funny just that song in particular.

The chorus makes me laugh, but in a good way lol. It's short and sweet, and simple to where all you gotta do is sit back and enjoy, as it should be. Nothing more, nothing less. Good, little tune, mosp.

Thanks to everyone who has listened, really appreciate your time and comments made.

Pleased people have thought the song is catchy, that’s the aim I suppose with a simple acoustic guitar at the minute and yeah at the moment I’m looking into spending some time in a recording studio, maybes book a day session to see if I can work on some of me songs to get them sounding bigger an better, bash some idea around, so I’l see how that goes.
 Lennon and Noel mentioned in the same thread cant be bad haha, both big influence on me thanks to those who made the comments on that.
I aint heard the show me your love tune by Liam for a while now, I know it was only about 30 second clip or so kicking about of him in the studio but yeah the oasis vibe and that I dig what you saying.

This is a cute little song. It has a lovely whimsy to it. A recon a simple skiffle arrangement might suit it well, some basic percussion and some layered vocals and jobs a good'un. Lots of potential here

I love the summer vibe to it...definitely agree with the early Oasis likeness, reminds of some of the great b sides that noel has written. Very catch song :-)

I'd just like to express the same thoughts as Kafla above. Perhaps rework the verses as they are not quite as strong as they could be.  Sometimes however, a song needs such contrast to allow the chorus to have a greater impact.  Well done, I enjoyed listening.

yeah i've such positive comments about this one and kinda intrigued by a lot of them especially about hthe production and arrangement comments and all that which i have never delved into before, its a funny thing the songwriting thing like as am sure each person who has commented would take this song away and do their thing and all the end results for each of them would be different and interesting to hear so if i hit that studio the possibilities are endless as long as i build on this amd make it bigger and better i suppose!

anyhow some really positive comments and its good to be here!
