Hi

This is a well produced track with a great vocal, but I feel it lacks enough melody to make it an pleasant listen. Although there is some variation and some breaks, the song doesn't go anywhere for me, like something with the usual verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus type format.  Maybe Im just behind the times! Regarding the lyrics, I understand that modern commercial tracks use very direct lyrics these days, but I like to see more analogies / similes (poetry?) Maybe Im just describing a different kind of music, and something this isn't trying to be.

Hi Irwin,

This is a million miles away from what I listen to.

It sounds contemporary. I'm sure I've heard my daughter play songs with a similar vibe on things like Kiss FM.

For me, I was waiting for the song to take off in some way - but I guess that isn't what happens in this type of genre.

Production was good was the vocalist - who sounded totally authentic.

Hi,

I really love the start, it caught my attention immediately because of the vocals coming straight in and the nice clean sound of the rhythm.

I have to say that by about 1 min in, I was finding it a bit repetitive.  It would need more variation for me.

I really like the mix - nice space between everything and not cluttered at all.

Loved this! Jazzy, discordant, soulful - great rhythm. Fantastic vocals, great production. The only thing missing is a solo from Miles Davis at 1:20.

Hi, I enjoy songs like this because they challenge you to think about why it sounds like that and doesn't follow the 'traditional' song structure, melodic and harmonic ideas. Interesting stuff! Nice production and the girls vocals were very good.

It sounds very good and although it doesn't seem to quite "fit" it gives the track some personality and charm

Everything seems to be a little "hot" to the point of clipping in some places but overall this is a great track

A strangely compelling track for me - about as far as you can get from my styles of choice, but interesting music. I found myself keeping on listening, just to see what happened next! Might have benefited from some extra distinct sections, but still clever stuff.
