This was inspired by an experiment done in the 1960s : they asked people to refrain from washing for 2-3 days and to show up at their local lunatic asylum (mental health facility in modern parlance) and to say they were hearing voices. Almost all were admitted (committed). The participants were also told that on the second day, they should tell the doctors that the voices were gone. The experiment was to see how long these "patients" remained hospitalized : some were kept in for up to 6 months! They re-ran the experiments in the early 2000s and, although patients were no longer hospitalized, almost all were prescribed anti-depressants!

Interesting theme @kevysc Like that chord progression, and it's got a David Byrne rhythm going on. Loads of space going on and some lovely little touches. Drums sounding really good on this one. What EZ drummer kit are you using ? Fab stuff

Really interesting subject matter - love reading up on stuff like that. Excellent arrangement and captured the feel perfectly. Great to see you pushing that melody too - great stuff.

I like the subject matter and I think you've done a really good job bring the story across but I also wish I could have hear a bridge somewhere in the song.

It's a mad idea for a song. 

Very defty done and like Bowie at his plaintive best.
