Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas!

Thanks very much for the feedback on my last song, much appreciated.

Here's the latest song I've recorded, wrote it yesterday, as like all my other recordings, it was done in one take, once I have finished writing the whole album I'm planning to get them all re recorded properly   :)

Lyrics:

When I'm around you
I'm always on the edge of my seat
You bring out this feeling
That makes my heart skip its beat

You're like a drug
I can't keep away
When we're together
Everything is ok

You know to play me
I fall for it every time
I know I will get hurt
But you make me feel alive

Go through the pain
Cos I hope some day
It will be worth it
Just to hear you say

Come along for the ride
I want you by my side
Cos you know that
I'll be there for you

It's time to hold on tight
Be ready for the fight
When times do get tough
I'll be there for you

When you are speaking
I cling on to every last word
I'll do anything
Just to get my voice heard

I'll be there for you
Ahhhhhhhhhhh

i think the secret is to listen to lots of other peoples songs & review them first
instead of hanging around waiting for them to review yours or bumping it  :)

this bit of the forum only works if evryone reviews other peoples songs
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

Probably a bad day to post your song...it`s a bit quiet now..with drinking and feasting going on...

I thought it was good....not to different from some of your other stuff, think you need to experiment more with other chords...i know  /you know..the Oasis similarities... otherwise your going to pigeon hole yourself to one type of sound.

good enuff song, vocals need bringing to the fore, again very similar to the previous song, very oasis,I know Noel regurgitates stuff and is successful doing it,not sure it will work for you tho,it would be interesting to hear the album with all the songs finished, you need to try different arrangements/keys/chords,good luck,it is a worth while project

Getting a bit of Oasis in there is never a bad thing in my book!

Definitely a track I could get into, I can see this having loads of potential with a tiny bit more production value to it. I think you've captured a lot of what makes Brit-pop great in this one. It has a very genuine quality.

The singing is a bit of an exaggerated Liam Gallagher type thing, which again is no bad thing in measured doses, but it makes things a little difficult to listen to in places. The lyrics could be tightened up in places but that's a personal preference more than anything.

Overall, very nicely done.

Interesting chords in the intro/verse - I could imagine the chorus being really quiet heavy and repeating I'll be there for you as the outro. V Oasis which is what I believe you're aiming for.
