Click Bait
There's a mouse in the house
That mouse he is my friend
There's a mouse in the house
That mouse he is my friend
I hold him in my hand
My bunny
My bunny
Where did my bunny go?
She went down the rabbit hole!
Click bait!
Too late!
My money
My money
Where did my money go?
It went down that rabbit hole
Click bait!
Too late!

Wasn’t expecting that! Great grove, great fun...I’m not very good at interpreting lyrics...I get click bait (I think) but someone would have to explain the mouse and bunny references.
-
I've no idea what all that is about, but that's a short, sharp bundle of fun!
Got that itchy restless feel of Talking Heads or something, which is great and not something I'm used to hearing from you guys.
Great comp entry.

Very cool!
@Bill Saunders (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18525) and @tboswell (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20223) : I believe it's referring to ads on the internet (like on Facebook) saying things like "You'll never guess what happened next!" and you click on it (with your mouse) and go to a site where they try to get you to part with your money.
I love this! No nits. It's awesome.

Hi Guys,
Another crazy one. I thought this was err.........crazy and fun with a hint of 50's rock & roll in the vocals. I am so glad I didn't go anywhere near this competition - you guys are way too good.

Very infectious song and sound you got here boys. Fits the brief admirably...probably wouldn't want to be any longer!
What inspired this I ask myself...doesn't really remind me of anything I ever listened to (apart from that 50s 'down-da-da-down' bit) so just curious about where it came from.
Very well put together indeed and as Monty says 'you guys are good'.

Yo Pomps and Paulski.
You two been on the disco biscuits? :D
It's trippy and terrific, weird and wonderful, outstanding and out there. Kinda reminds me of whacky songs I used to hear on 60s radio!
Marvellous.

I have to agree with the other comments...weird, wonderful, wacky and way far out there 8) It's got a real infectious groove, but the lyrics
kinda stumped me at first, but thanks to Vicki's explanation, I get now it ::) it's very funny and very clever :P Great entry guys :)

i was pushed back in my chair..hair standing on end !
your bouncing off the walls here you guys

Oh My God!
I have not understood anything, but I choose the mouse,
So funny!

Very smart and wonderfully crazy song about a very contemporary subject, the chaotic treatment really suits the theme. Definitely makes an impact inside one minute and another fine entry in this high quality entry.
Very imaginative!

Thank you everyone for listening and the comments. :D
As noted this was a bit of a crazy one and crazy needs to be kept short IMHO.
@Bill Saunders (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18525) - thanks Bill. Vicky has pretty much explained the lyrics - at least the way I see them. It's also about how the internet wastes our time as we go down various rabbit holes. Glad you heard some fun in there ;D
@tboswell (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20223) - cheers Tom. Yeah that makes three of us that don't know what it's about ;D But itchy and restless works for me :D
@CaliaMoko (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=19928) - hey Vicky - thanks for the kind words. Sounds like you've gone down a few rabbit holes too ;D
@montydog (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18653) - cheers Alan Yeah you know crazy when you see it! Hey - there's a song title right there ;D
@Viscount Cramer & His Orchestra - thanks Ian. What inspired this? Well I knew I shouldn't have eaten that hamburger - it smelled a bit off and those mushrooms looked weird. I don't know what pomps was on but he was pretty incoherent at times.. cheers for the kind comments!
@Skub (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20061) - cheers skub. wacky hehe - we'll take that ;D
@crystalsuzy (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18947) - thanks suzy - nice to have you back 'round these parts.
@nooms (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=11264) - thank you kind sir. We were well strapped in, well, except the part where we fell out of time, but John sorted that out nicely ;D
@moraamarolaloba (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=21233) thank you mora - glad someone is on the mouse's side for a change ;D
@MichaelA (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=21274) thanks Michael - much appreciated :o
