I love me some gentle folk moosic on a warm sunny day. The way the finely crafted harmonies blend effortlessly with the more strident woody tones of a vintage Martin and the gentle agitation of a tambourine. Lyrically and melodiously uplifting experience.  :)

Then of course we have Tina's latest hit single.  :D

What a riot.  8)

Jimi stuffs his axe through the Marshall cab, while relentlessly doing damage to the whang bar, then 13 second in from the aural mayhem, the choon begins. Imagine if Hank Marvin had taken a line of Colombian marching powder up his not inconsiderable proboscis, then decided to get all experimentalon Yo ass, yeh? Well it doesn't really sound like that anyway.  :P
This thing really motors,so those of a delicate disposition had best make use of a few stiff ones before exposing yer lugs. Also don't be tooshing about with the volume at one or two...dime that sucker as I'm told our TransAtlantic cousins are wont to opine.

The bit from 1.37 on has shades of Muse, that's good in my book,I love some prog-punk.

If I had hair it would be all mussed now. Tread carefully my forum brothers and sisters, the unexpected walks among us. :o

Temperz Fuggit Rawks. Git sum y'all.

This is bloody brilliant! I love it. The raucous energy of pure expression, absolutely fantastic. It's like something you'd hear in a side-street New York venue in the early seventies.

Amazing.

You are having way too much fun there Tina. Way too much fun!!

So much awesome drama through it all. Is that real drums being murdered?

Great stuff  :)

Tom.

There is no way, no effing way in the world, you programmed those drums right? This was a band right?

Hendrix to pop punk to Rush to god knows what. Superbly fun as always although I missed your lyrics. Very psychedelic though. Should have been at Woodstock.

Brilliant fun, really musical, dramatic and energetic. Can I say that your bass player seemed maybe a bit timid in comparison (perhaps understandable) and generously left lots of space for the guitar and drums to shine - next time she could be a bit more daring?! Not a criticism just an idea...

Hi Tina,

Admit it - you had Animal playing on the drums!

This is great. The energy is fantastic. Great guitar work. Would love to hear you attempt a vocal over it - just to hear what you'd come up with.

Ha ha! Was that Karen Carpenter on the drums??!! Too bad we lost her,cos I liked where there music was heading!! ;D

I really enjoyed this Tina and as stroppy as the drummer was I found the melody nice and catchy.

A rewarding listen as always.

Leo  ;D

You have a rare talent  ;D  the way your imagination
and humor is manifested through your music is amazing  ;D ;D
Always look forward to hearing your work.

This is crazy stuff Tina  :) I really love stuff like this. It just oozes energy and it sounds like you were having so much fun. The guitar is brilliant and the drums are really awesome. Like others I would like to hear this with some vocals added as I think you could make this even quirkier than it is.

Great stuff - Woke me up this morning  :)

Brilliant!

Couldn't help but smile all the way through.

There's a great tune behind the madcap adventures too,

Fugit...I'll have another listen :)

Tina,

Would never argue with you....you have too much energy.

Another great song (without words). Drums are amazing and complemented by the excellent guitars.

When's the next one?

Well im realy pleased you all like it ….  I was  worried  posting this was a mistake & youd all say its not a song  it doesnt belong here this is a songwriters forum....so thank you all

skub : you should be writing for the NME! what you wrote  was like a fabulous publicity handout...great journalism & very funny...thank you

viva la stereo: im so pleased you rated it so much & I liked the NYC punk mention ...ive always adored the ramones & all that energy they had in there music

tom: no they arent real drums! but they do sound good dont they!
& yes I make sure I have fun doing my songs ...the day I dont have fun will be the day I  stop
so I dont spend lots of time on getting things perfect bcos that would kill it..i would love to write & record a song of the quality of your latest one you mustve spent absolutely ages on it...but if I did I know I would end up packing it all in after I had invested so much in one song & hardly any body listened to it....

martyn: its  addictive drums ….it took me ages to learn how to use them & then for years I just used  the preset  patterns....  but this year Ive found the confidence to write my own bits  & I realy enjoy it
I chose some big drum fills that were in a much slower bpm stuck them together in this song with its fast bpm & then wrote my own bits to link it all up & it worked so well I couldnt believe it
im amazed you heard  Rush in it

adam:  yes I did think that the bass shouldve been played a lot wilder when I finished it
I played the bass like that bcos I originally did it as a 3 piece without the rhythym guitar & the bass needed to hold it together

digger: ah animal wasnt he amazing! Yes he probably was the role model for the drums here
unfortunately my weedy vocals on this would sound ridiculous... I wish  could sing rock well but I just cant

leo:  karen carpenter on drums haha ... we have the same sense of humour!

Bindaddy:  im realy glad you like my imagination & sense of humour they are my armour against the world

john:  yes I do love energetic music you wont catch me listening to anything slow or sad!
I wish I could but no vocal I could do would  ever fit with any thing  like this ...your voice would        work

paul: glad you liked it paul... thanks!

Sandeep: ta for  listening  & no you must never argue with me! ...my hubbie will testify to that!

In case some people didnt get it the band name is a pun  on tempus fugit you know time flys ….so its tempers fly

Tina,
Lots to enjoy here, liking the punky update on simple 50's insrumental here and then the breakdown, a bit like what I imagine a early Pretenders soundcheck doing an instrumental might have sounded like.
Great live feel to this.
Nailed it.

How excellent! Superb playing on everything - love the drumming and guitar and bass. Brilliant. This would go down a treat in some of the pubs round my way where people trying and play stuff like this and fail miserably. It's liked souped-up rockabilly meets Keith Moon. Very good but this stuff needs to be out there and live! Get thee a band :-)

Hi Tina, if Dave grohl and Hank Marvin got smashed together took copious amounts of illegal substances and signed a death pact, this would be their last session. Great energy and imagination!
Love it!
Cheers

sounds like your electrocuting the poor fellow !
cruelty to drummers is everywhere, they need looking after..

actually i didnt get this at first hearing
but now i love it .. really exciting and upwards..and a really strong lyrical melody running thro it..
guitar really takes off in a kind of joyful defiance..

should call it electrocution, the drummer emblazoned with sparks ..hey !
great stuff tina

Hi Tina, this is amazing. The crazy drum intro and ending made this song for me and the guitar solo was very good too.

I've been saving up my bits and bytes of bandwidth all month so I could watch/listen to this. Totally worth it! I have to say...I bought my electric guitar and it doesn't sound anything at all like yours!  :o  Do you give lessons???

I loved the whole thing. I need that energy. You've already gotten lots of absolutely true and wonderful feedback, and I don't know enough to point at anything specific anyway, so I can only say I thinks it's awesome and I'll be listening to it again a few times.

I need to go rest now....  ;D

thanks everyone for listening & comments

delboy: thank you derek...yes that is definitely keith moons influence on my midi drums!
i like thinking about playing live & I do lots of great gigs in my head...but thats as far as it gets nowadays :)

Hi Tina, if Dave grohl and Hank Marvin got smashed together took copious amounts of illegal substances and signed a death pact, this would be their last session.
jamie:  haha... I love that jamie!

nooms: id say about 75% of the  drummers Ive known have tried to play like this ... till the rest of the band have sat on them & theyve got the message..
nooms ive never heard you play drums here but im thinking you must be in with the minority... unless a drumkit turns you into a raging cage fighting drum banger?
im glad you liked it ...your opininon is important to me

portrait piano:  thank you ..im pleased you liked something thats a million miles away from the music you do :)

vicki: im so flattered you saved up your internet time to listen to my song ...& relieved you liked it after that sacrifice :)
im not surprised your guitar doesnt sound like mine yet... you have to let them know whos  boss before they will do what you want! ;D
i would always be happy to give you a few tips with your playing if youd like...just pm me ok :)

Hi T,

Totally agree with delBoy - he covered all the bases. As an old fashioned git, I preferred the melodic bits but they work so well in contrast to the heavy metal thrash bit.

You're on a roll ATM, refreshing, original and skillful.

Horslips Tin Lizzy in those old town hall gathering, you play with bad attitude and i fecking love it, open day festival and i would put you up on stage but to be honest as the promoter of this open day festival i wouldn't put you up there alone, i would put Stylus up there with you, bad attitude plays with heart and soul.

Conversation wild guitar style let loose and the crowd would love it., you think we should charge a entry fee   8)

It appears that FAWM did not suck all of your creative juices dry. This is as TinaMish ( I just realised that's Tin Amish ) as ever.  And did you name the club after me without my permission? you can expect a visit from my lawyers tomorrow.

You rock those guitars girl. Seriously good stuff.

Allan.

Hi Tina,

Really enjoyed this. Great energy and a catchy guitar hook. Manages to run free at times without losing its way, gets loud and raucous without offending the ears. Keeps the interest until the end. Who needs words?
