I cannot lose,
I cannot lose the love from you,
what can I say,
I never knew,
your love would fall through,
Don't walk away,
don't walk away from what you know,
deep down inside,
you can't let it go,
when it was just so.

got so many things to say to you
got so many things to say to you, I know,
got so many things to say to you
got so many things to say to you, I know,
Let me say the words,
Let me say the words to you,
Let me say the words,
Let me say the words to you,

How could I know,
how could I know the way you feel,
talking it real,
now i've got no more love to steal,
Never to know,
never to hear you say the words,
I should have known,
why don't I tell it to the birds.

got so many things to say to you
got so many things to say to you, I know,
got so many things to say to you
got so many things to say to you, I know,
Let me say the words,
Let me say the words to you,
Let me say the words,
Let me say the words to you,

Another top class track. That bass in the chorus is such a bold move but works really well and mixes very nicely with the pad. Your voice sounds great as usual, and the ending with that sub-bass was amazing. Only negative for me is that there is too much rhyming standing out in the first verse, which makes it sound like you're working through all the words on rhymezone.com (which incidentally I'd recommend as a tool for anyone not using it). Apart from that, excellent work!

That's a small change, but does make all the difference - feels more natural now. I'm quite touched that you changed it based on what I said - it makes me worry because then I start thinking "what if I'm wrong and everyone else thinks it's better as it is?", but then it's up to you to decide. We're just here to give a personal opinion and fresh ears often help.

What a massive contrast between the feel of the verses and chorus. Really bold and brave. On first listen I thought maybe too much, but after a couple I really like it and anyway I always think shaking things up is better than doing the same old thing. Love the gunshots and the bubbly bass (is that a sequencer?!)

@shadowfax Excellent love ballad, like the stripped down piano in the verse and then the (bass driven) anthemic chorus. Would be a great one for a crowd to sing along with :)

@shadowfax Yeah, an anthemic song which could be huge live. I think I prefer the alternative version, but both are very strong. Enjoyed this one :)

Great contrast between the verses and choruses... not so much that they feel like different songs, but an unusual amount of contrast that really works.  Dig the huge reverb in the choruses in particular.
I think I prefer the alternative version on balance (the guitar is a lot more prominent? but it's a tough call between that and the bubbling bass line...). The original was also already top notch.
It's all too beautiful.
