A simple love song,

https://soundcloud.com/knmac/i-cant-wait-by-knmac

I wait alone, you know that it ain't easy,
losing my soul along the way,
the clouds are dark and there's no silver lining,
I might never know the day,

I can't wait to see it's true,
I can't wait you know I'm so in love with you,
I can't wait to see the day,
when you come back to me,
I know you know the way,

the summers gone, our time is left behind me,
leaves are  falling around my head,
if you return the letters that i sent to you,
I will know your love is dead,©KNmac

best to all :) :)

I read the lyric.  Then listened.  By the time I got through the lead-in, I knew this was beautiful.

I love simplicity.  The hardest thing to accomplish is to tell a COMPLETE story in a few words.  This does it well.  And the music adds a haunting and hopeful element to the story that captures perfectly the mood the lyric needs.

An interesting little tinge of sadness in both the music and the vocal that caps it off.  Awfully close to perfect.

I really like this, it's deceptively simple but rich in terms of production and lyrical value. Short and very sweet. I also enjoyed the almost sudden stop at the end, as though the song is a question and the answer is left to the person who the song is about. The vocal is also very good.

I really enjoyed it.

I like it. Beautiful and kindof feels like a throwback to the 80s. Kindof reminds of a Rush or REO Speedwagon tune.

Very good. Love the vocals, really good. I think the idea, the melody, the story, and the arrangement could support a longer version of this song. I'm all for short songs and I'm all for simplicity (and there's a little bit of magic in keeping this short and "on message" - it's very much a plea) - but this would or could benefit from more expansion.

Great song.

Thanks for listening guy's...

Nooms, it's just a simple love song so refrained from trying to be clever with the lyrics..

delboy, this song just happened while i was in the middle of another song, took about an hour so I decided to leave well alone..maybe expand it at a later date

thanks again everyone.. :)

You are a machine - an endless supply of beautifully crafted, sung and produced songs. This is very pretty and I like the musical motif running through it. Superb vocals as ever make the most of the lyrics which are probably the weakest aspect of the song.

Overall, though - I liked it and it's got quality stamped all over it.

Great song.

Love the Lyrics, but the the guitars are brilliant and bring out the the beauty and simplicity of the song.

Well done

Lovely rich evocative sounding suits the vocals, which can pull of such a big ballad.
And really like the reverbed acoustic solo after the first chorus.

this is incredibly catchy & you have a voice that is very appealing & the song has a lovely sad romantic vibe
it sounds crystal clear ...youve done  a great job getting it like that
but if it was in a list of songs i probably wouldnt click on it with such a ordinary title....do you know what i mean? you spend time writing & recording a classic song & then give it a generic name that makes people pass it by....it needs to stick in peoples minds
i suppose the same could be said about the lyrics but this song is carried by the melody & maybe the lyrics arent so important but its normal to take a title from a chorus so you are stuck realy
anyway i realy enjoyed it but its all food for thought :)
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)
