Rough Demo - Very early days. and possibly missing the main chorus and lots of technical tidying up.
But opinions on the general vibe appreciated.

Working Title - "Same Old Faces" or Possibly "The Silverspoon Express"

I hear the voices in my mind
Telling me there are bright days ahead.
But through the evidence of my own eyes
Theres a long way to go...theres a long way to go.

When I look up to the sky
all i see are dirty footprints on the glass glass ceiling.
They say that everyone has the same chance in Life
but seeing is believing...seeing is believing.

I hear the voices in my mind telling me that
change will soon be coming, change will soon be coming
but all we do is moan and groan and stand idly by idly by.

Watch their noses in the trough
expecting us to be grateful for the crumbs from their table.
Its badges on the tie for daddies little girl and mummy little boy.

Same old faces looking back at me.
Same old faces pulling all the strings.

Thanks For Listening.

loved it, don't really think you have to do much more with it at all, nice easy sound, very full sound.

I think the general vibe of this is brilliant! And for a demo, the sounds work really well.

Also, I reckon "the silver spoon express" is a fab title. Loved the graphic too.

I'm looking forward to hearing this when its finished :)

Like I say Morefrog I really like your stuff. I'm glad I can hear it now. You have got a brilliant vibe going on there. Ian Brown, stone roses. I am back in 90 with my hippy hat on. The lyrics are excellent. Don't overdo this man it is a really accomplished piece of work. Love it 😊 pompeyjazz

I like it, and I think the lyrics are good. However, I do think one thing will make it that little bit better. 'Tighten' things up a little. So take out unnecessary 'The' 'At' ect. I did spot in the first verse  "I hear the voices in my mind" and "but through the evidence of my own eyes"

But it is ultimately up to you, have fun :)

@ The Shadow
We cant all have smooth silky voices like you Kevin ;) - LOL

I think the vocals were my first few attempts at working out a melody from written words to the backing track..so would defiantly redo to try and disguise my very average voice - but to be honest not really feeling this song not sure I'll bother any more with it. If you dont like it yourself then what chance of others liking it?

Interesting..I have a friend who is very into production and working with singers he can turn into stars...he once said to me  and I quote..'I can spot a hit single a mile away'...then in the same breathe said He hated 'Your once, twice, three times a lady' and 'Everything I do I do it for you' this is around the time I stopped taking any notice of him...he woould have obviously turned those songs down if presented to him..
what I'm trying to say is just cause you don't like it doesn't mean others wouldn't...I don't like disco stuff but I do em because other people do like em...
and aparently watsisname who wrote 'Everything I do I do for you' thought it was dead boring and was gonna chuck it but luckily for him he had a more astute and tuned in producer...
something unfortunately non of us have... :(

best mate, Kevin :)
