Hi all,
I'm Scott, or 'NamelessMC' to those who indulge my delusions.
Being desperately poetic and brought up in the grimey suburbs of Birmingham I've spent near 9 years (badly) writing and 'spitting' 'bars' with my family and friends.
Spending 4 years as a software developer and gaining some real independence has taken its toll in moulding me into a slightly less frustrated youth and has driven me to search for more from the music I so greatly enjoy creating.
Late last year this cultivated the notion of learning an instrument, and thus the purchase of a £60 classical guitar off Amazon.
Since then I've been hooked. I initially tried to take my time and learn properly (New chord, learn a new song with it, repeat) but found myself prematurely trying to write and perform (though only to myself) my own music.
I understand I've missed some key principles along the way with song-writing and guitar playing theory, but must do what makes me enjoy this wonderful hobby the most.
Anyway, long story short is that I'm hoping to build a relationship with this forum (which I've been following but not participating in for months) in hope that I can offer some of my limited experience, but also earn some advice and direction from the evidently friendly and talent-ridden community here.
All the best
