I mentioned to Dutchbeat that I would start a new thread for his collaboration project so that it doesn't get lost in the other threads

I thought it might also be fun to "log" the development of the track, especially as it looks like others are now getting involved

This thread is for people to comment on the different versions of the song as it evolves and allow those that contribute to share what they did and why they did it

When I asked DB what he wanted he just said to give him something "over the top"

I decided to give some varying degrees of sounds/styles to choose from so here is the track I sent:

I sent DB the stems so he could mix as he wanted and we currently have this version:

I know he is keen to add more and I know some are already working on parts so lets chuck everything into the mix for DB to cook us something up...

i just received a vocal track from the Cheff!himself (Cheff Dan), and Nooms! worked out singing lines with additions

so expect and update soon

i am hoping for other ideas and additions from forumites, and no need to make it hard on yourself, any addition goes, i am aiming at getting as many forumites as possible to unite on the song!

Hi Tina, this may be a sort an open ended project, no hurry, although it would nice to have your bit

i did some filming of aunt V and myself elves running around with guitars in the forest, so i think we can increase the weird elves part of the video quite a bit

and finally when we have all the entries, i will try to tidy up as far as i can and make WAVs and hand these over Ramshackles to do his miracles in the EQ-ing, mixing, mastering and all these things... i really don't know much about. Ramshackles volunteerded for that job himself (Huray for the Ram!)

some great touches here from cheff dan but i couldnt pick out nooms? where are you nooms?
this is a great idea of yours DB it all seems to be working realy well even tho your original song was great as it was

Wooo! This track is starting to hot up. I love the added vox from nooms & cheff - fantastic. Really must get my act together and add my own vocal stylings to this project before the ever-patient Dutchbeats get tired of waiting for me.

I suggest you lot do the same

Having the two extra vocal tracks makes such a big difference, I can't wait to hear it with everyone in there

this project is getting ignored becos its down here in the bar & people arnt aware every time its updated theres anything new going on !
the things people have added so far are worthy of evryone attention i think i was the only person to say how great boydies guitar was & cheff dan & nooms vocals were
this  is a marvelous idea of dutchbeats for everyone on this forum to join in or at least support it & im sad peoples ideas & creativity is just ignored
people would rather comment on some first time spamming posters song than support these efforts by commited members
im going to post this in the reviews section aswell...dutchbeat is much to nice & humble to do it......im not

so now i need to combine the mix with the new images. i also want to remix the mix, as Nooms should be more present.

And: I am hoping for more contributions...come on songwriters, anything goes, a sound an image for the video singing, harmonica etc. On request i can send the chords, the lyircs, the music track without singing etc.
i would like many songwriters from this forum to join (and want to know how many tracks my new computer can handle before it starts to stall
