Hi, I'm a lyricist (I think), and I've lurked a bit, but it was so sunny today, I thought I'd emerge!
I've been writing lyrics on and off for a good long time, but I was always very unclear where it was going to end up (if anywhere!). I don't write or play music, and although I'm a good singer, I have so far lacked the necessary drive/time and place to start a band. A few attempts at collaboration have always petered out.
I think I've just been handed an opportunity though (which I'll post about), and I need to sharpen up, so here I am, ready to soak up your wisdom and hopefully, contribute a little in return, where I can.
