I guess like some people I don't really dig this time of year,  but I just wanted to send out a big love and thank you to everyone who has spent time listening to and reviewing my sometimes musical output, the great friendships that I've made and the wonderful collaborations that I've been involved in, So many amazing experiences. Big love to all. Love Pompeyjazz  :)

We're Bahá'ís, so we don't pay much attention to Christmas at home. Much of our extended family, however, gets into Christmas to varying extents. My husband and I plan to take my eighty-something dad to the local senior center for Christmas dinner. That'll be about the extent of our merry making. We don't even give gifts to our grandchildren. They have far too much stuff already. So, once a year we put some money in their college accounts. But not for Christmas or birthdays. We do it in February.

Vicki.  That is absolutely perfect. I have a well honed system now so I can avoid the majority of the consumeristic stuff that is going on. Honestly,  people queuing for a bag of peeled sprouts just does my head in

You can get peeled sprouts?!... sign me up man, sprouts are the bomb diggity.

Merry Christmas pomps, tinsel, baubles, glitter, sparkles, lights, and lots of festive cheer coming your way. (Gets it out of mine)

All hail the mighty sprout.

Say it very quietly, but I actually really like Christmas! Not working may have something to do with it and we have big and small kids who get really into it. Also Mrs Farr seems to be part elf.

Cheers to you Pompey for everything you do round the forum and to everyone who makes it what it is!

I have mixed feelings towards x-mas. Festive celebrations in general.

You've posted some fine songs.
Thank you pj!

Cheers John, and thanks for all the effort you put into making this forum a great place to share
our creations  :) And thanks for sharing all your amazing creations as well  :-*
Every year I pull back a little more from the consumer aspects of Xmas  ::) It just seems so ridiculous :o
But at the same time, to some degree, I love the ideology of the Xmas spirit  :-*
So in that light, I wish you, and all my fellow song writers, the best Xmas ever :) :)

Merry Xmas PJ.

Hoping to be back active myself again in the New Year - been a tough few months at work - so look forward to hearing your new creations.

Best wishes to all.

It must be Christmas....I'm drinking a glass of Bordeaux instead of some old plonk from a 5 litre box. Still only cost a couple of quid though....one good thing about France versus UK! Or a bad thing if you're my hepatologist.

So I'll have a drink to all you songwriting folk. May the next year be productive for you all.

Cheers!
Take it easy.

You can check my stuff out here. Mini-album getting bigger slowly. Free download if you're poorer than me.

Ditto - I'm lucky enough to be five minutes from the ferry to France  ;D
