I don't understand. There's only one football team here. And there's no capital letter in city.

Only one club in the city of Manchester, strange for such a large city. I'd have expected a number of amateur and semi-professional teams given the recent success of the three major clubs in the greater Manchester area, FC United, City and United.

Haha, I know there's technically more than one club ... but my entire family are United fans, we don't talk about the "other lot". Hence the remark about Manchester city/Manchester City.
