Go Katie. Good to see you jumping in to the deep end and going for it! E minor is a pretty cool chord as is A minor - I like the sound of both but mainly they are cool cos they are the only two chords I can easily play on a guitar!

Normally when I try a new hobby I'm all over it and burn myself out after a week or two,but this is cool I watch a video on you tube might have a 10- 15 minute practice then just forget about it until next time - I keep picturing where my fingers should go but that's about it really
