Apparently I wrote this cheesy boogiewoogie fun song about a certain goth cult spinster from the Victorian era. For those who do not know her: Lizzie Borden was accused of brutally murdering her father and stepmother with a hatchet back in 1892. The lyrics are full of dark humor references to the case (probably not everyone's cup of tea). Please let me know what you think of it, especially in regard to the lyrics since I’m not a native English speaker. Of course I'll be listening to your songs as well this week

What a show!!! I enjoyed the atmosphere here, as well as the way of telling the story, surreal and full of black humor and irony, I think the voice depicts by itself the Victorian era style.

Your comment made me laugh. All this time I was convinced I played the naive victim in the story of dating Lizzie Borden. Your comment about my voice having an element of menace made me realise it was me coming up with the story in the first place, so I suppose I must have been the wicked one all along

Some years ago, someone told me I shouldn't sing, so the idea was stuck in my head that I had a terrible voice. It was only two years ago that I even dared to start singing. Thanks, this helps my confidence a lot! (I even tried some loud singing on a new song recently.)
