I already knew that The Verve had lost all their royalties for 'Bitter Sweet Symphony', on account of them taking a sample of a riff and incorporating that into their song. I thought it unjust that they lost ALL their royalties, as they built something amazing on top of the original riff, and if they hadn't done it, then the original composers - The Stones - wouldn't have earned an extra penny in any case.
