great idea,

having our own open podium via forum webcams, we tried to start this up before but somebody needs to really take the lead...and someone needs to dare to do the opening show....

and as for Glastonbury festival, i cannot believe the amount of bands playing and the number of stages....absurd

how many people are attending that festival?????

Just watched Seasick Steve (plus JPJ) and I reckon he's got the best ever song title

Watching Dizzee Rascal on BBC 3 from the comfort of my living room because the toilet ratio of my house is 1:1 NOT the 60:1 Glastonbury ratio. I mean WHY would you want to share a toilet with 60 people!? He's a great rapper though

Well, I thought the Stones were excellent ( and I wasn't really a fan)

The amazing thing is..

My Mum took time out in her school lunch hour to buy tickets to see these guys back in about '66

Now she's a pensioner (no offence mum  ;D ) and they are still gigging  :o :o :o :o

... with more energy than me  :D

Umm Jess, i think its still one person at a time and given that the average pee time is around 2 mins that gives you access once every two hours. Now we have to factor in the ahhhh, sit down jobs, say 5 mins ,but only once a day so thats going to push it out to whoooa wait on, thats 5 hours for 60 people.

Ok, now we are lucky if we can go once evry 2.30 and we still need to factor inpeople being sick, toilets out of commission, and people using toilets for non sanctioned personal episodes andi think we are up to around 4hours. Given that you will miss at least two opportunities per day due tosleep, requirements you are now at once every 6 hours. Now factor in oldpeople like me who dont like lyrics and have weak bladders and your personal allocation is halved to twice per day.

Omg, im staying home.

When I saw Prince at the Hop Farm in Kent (still trying to get my head around how the hell Prince was playing down the road from me!) the toilet arrangements were genius

They basically had the standard cubicles around the edge - for the ladies - and in the middle they had banks of open air urinals - in banks of 2 facing each other!

If you find it tricky having a pee next someone, staring a stranger square in the eye takes it to a whole new level

It was strangely liberating "doing your business" with ladies walking past
