I'd like to have a go too if it's not too late. I didn't say so earlier because I wasn't sure I would have the time. I'm currently revamping a Christmas song I wrote over 10 years ago. I'm nearly there and hope to have it posted at the weekend.

Has anyone thought about how we vote for these songs?
Firstly should everyone (who wants to) vote or only those that have posted a Christmas song?
Secondly, should each person vote for just their one favorite song or give points to all the songs on a sliding scale so nobody gets "nil point".

So what about this xmas song? I guess I kind of have one...

How many entires do we have on this forum? it is almost an Album full of Christmas songs

would it be an idea to gather all the links of the entries in one post in this topic?

makes it easier to compare and vote...(or am i expecting a level of organisation that songwriters generally are not in to?)
but i am not feeling like doing that.....but perhaps this would be a nice task for Kafla  , him being the organiser of this x-mas contest???

I will post the entries on the 19 th the day after the competition closes in a seperate thread - there will then be a week long voting , hopefully that will give Ramshackles enough time to post a proper song I.e. music & lyrics

Now if I put up some music and lyrics it wouldnt be quite as annoying to everyone really going for it in this contest would it? If you like, I will record the snow singing and put it on. That will suit the track nicely.
