hi
originally this was a huge song of many more parts
I recently edited it
I'm still not sure of it. It says a lot to me, but I know the background
I'd appreciate any feedback. It's potentially a powerful song.

Thanks in advance.

Creations

You defy my imagination!
And surpass all of my creations
No loose change, we may have to walk it
Take our time, like we can afford it
In my hour of early twilight
You take me to a higher insight
I am good, and truly gone
Where to go and where from

Quiet stars falling through my blindness
Broken hearts inclined to remind us
Troubles blow ā€˜nā€™ rage in the distance
They rise up n' still make no difference
One long dizzy spell of confusion
Did seduce my every reason
World outside comes down to
Push and shove, black and blue

I can walk and talk at the same time
One steady stream of thought on my mind
Well, I don't know if you deserve this
but you get all my love and service
Giving in always was too easy
Never did it appeal to me
I left home for the front
Restless and bothersome

In my hour of early twilight
You take me to a higher insight
I am good, and truly gone
Where to go and where from

It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Don't eat the yellow snow

And there you have it.

Quiet, beautifully understated, unassuming -- and absolutely gorgeous.  I loved this lyric.

So rare to find a lyric that doesn't need to overpower me to "get through to me."

With the right music (and my advice would be to be VERY selective) this can be incredible.

Poweful, poetic and evocative.  It doesnt matter whether or we understand the meaning from your perspective, it meant several things to me as I read through. Perfectly judged and looking forward to hearing it to music.

Hey rightly

Well this is above my reviewing station  ;D
So all I can pick at is the title - maybe "Where to Go?" instead?
Knowing your musical chops I'm sure you'll do it justice  ;D ;D

Good work

Paul

hey thanks fellas
those are uplifting comments.

The music, or the 1st attempt at it is mostly finished, I still have to learn it to play it smoothly.

Chops?... Me.  ;D
I've a unique style but that style is more determined by my limitations than by choice.
I feel more prepared to take more time with the music with this one.

very busy these days with things I just can't switch off.
it might be while before I can record it. :-\

Thanks guys.
