does anyone else secretly believe that iPod shuffle software has been secretly programmed to favour certain musical styles at certain times?  ...

GTB - I have noticed sometimes that a pattern emerges ie that certain songs seem to always follow other songs. I'm not sure how it works but it seems to be the songs I listen to most that would come up on shuffle meaning I listen to about 50 or so quite often and the other thousand or so less often!

Yikes. Gonna do this without cheating (could be embaressing....)

Barenaked Ladies - "I Know"
Jamelia - "Dirty Dirty"
Blondie - "Rapture"
Calexico - "Red Blooms"
Everything Everything - "MY KZ UR BF"

Hmmm...Not too bad! I forget I had Jamelia's album, I remember it being pretty fun!

GIRANAMO!!!!....

1. Fall Out Boy - Alpha Dog
2. Evelyn Evelyn - Have You Seen My Sister Evelyn?
3. Pulp - Pink Glove
4. Sergei Rachmaninoff - Variation XI : Moderato (Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini)
5. Hurts - Sunday

I'm pretty happy with that. Fall Out Boy is a bit of a throwback to my early 20s, but otherwise I'd gladly listen to any of the above.

Ps. - Somebody mentioned John Grant earlier in the thread.
Hats off to Queen Of Denmark. Astounding album.

Haha, sounds fun! I got:
1. "Something To Die For" by The Sounds
2. "Wrong Opinion" by Chairlift
3. "Oh No!" by Marina And The Diamonds
4. "Try Again" by Keane
5. "Phantom Punch" by Sondre Lerche

Wow, they're all pretty different, :D

I guess it's because they're much better songs, ST! Especially the KB classic. Must check out 'ME'  ;D
