RichyRowlatt:
I liked it Alan. It's a funny old game writing songs isn't it? How much lyrical repetition, chord changes (for the sake of chord changes) etc. Sometimes I find it's just a feeling I get at the nape of my neck when I know I'm onto a good thing. In this the lyrical repetition definitely works for me and I agree with a lot of the other posts that this is a through and through pop song.

The sax didn't work for me either, but as you'll see when I post my first song (I only joined this morning), my situation currently means that I can only record direct to my iphone, just me and a piano, live, so I'm hardly in a position to comment about tghe production side of things. A good song is a good song regardless of production right?

Can I just add that I'm really glad to have found this site and hopefully some likeminded people happy to give an honest appraisal of my work.

Here's to much musical sharing!!!
