your accent is great to listen to..we have a popular german comedian over here called henning wehn, hes on the radio quite a bit and i cant help linking the two of you together..
i do think the song could do with a contrasting sequence or a little attractive distraction.. i actually thought the third section was going to be a bridge but it turned out to be the end,  which is cool just think you could maybe colour it in a little more.

Hi Alexander...once again you've managed to capture my heart with another beautiful song your vocals never let me down 
the lyrics are very sweet and I love the la la la's I love the line "but my wings are not strong enough, for the trip down memory lane"
I think an instrumental break at 2:10 would be nice, but I love the simplicity of the backing track as it suits the song perfectly
I totally enjoyed listening to this...your unique style is refreshing  CS

I hadn't noticed the Cat Stevens feel, but when it was pointed out, I completely got it.  I envisioned a far different vocal treatment in terms of timing when I read the lyric.  The musical accompaniment is mesmerizing, and the overall song is excellent. 

I'm still not sure I wouldn't sing it quite differently if I were to do it.
