I recently checked out the band Kiss.
I'm still enjoying the Paul Stanley audio book. He's such a rocker!
Musically though they're pretty rubbish. After the smoke has cleared they look pretty daft too.
I wonder if anyone has any appreciation for questionable bands / solo artists.
Maybe I'm too old to have such things as a guilty pleasure now.
In my teens id have to keep quiet about my appreciation of prince, now he's generally highly respected.
Later on I was quiet about a lot of George Michaels work, some still would feel irritated if I'd point out he's a good 'un.
Just a few years ago I'd slag off nirvana and proclaim GnR were so much better! That was met with confusion.
Guilty pleasures. Suggestions?
