Maybe others would disagree but I dont think its the best idea. Maybe if we werent having so many competitions at the moment it would've been a bit interesting. The main problem I see with this is that we are on a songwriters forum. Where is the songwriting in doing covers?

If the cover was an interpretation perhaps. Joe Cocker's version of "Little Help from my Friends" for example?

i thought it would be interesting to see the person and of course it would be an interpretation...
a slightly alternative and contraversial idea maybe??? i hadnt thought so when i mentioned it.
i like hearing acoustic versions of songs personally...
